Our Podcast just went to Video!
For our 100th podcast episode, I caved and agreed to go Vodcast. Kent and JP really wanted to. I didn't. But it turned out quite awesome and I had a lot of fun editing and producing the video rather than just audio.

The International Teacher Podcast
|
Listen to my podcast with Matt Judd and Kent Arimura. Our journey into the wormhole of creating podcasts started in February 2021. We published the first couple episodes in April 2021. Two years later, we celebrated our 50th episode and over 15,000 downloads. Listeners now tune in from over 100 countries.

www.ITPexpat.com
November 2022 was relatively uneventful. I had lots of down time. One of the websites I maintain was a nonstarter, a great idea without a start, a flop. I took that site, which was simply a money pit, and redirected it to a new domain. Whallah. A website for the ITP was born. Whether or not it is even needed or helpful to the ITP cause, who knows? Kent thinks it is important and will give us a venue to maintain a mailing list of listeners. Check it out. Simple. Clean. Soon to be a hotspot for international teachers?
Friends Reconnect
I have been amazed at the rumbles in the universe. Ever since Matt and I published our podcast, friends from the past and new friends have been communicating. Check out this website from Graydon Hazenberg - a former colleague, friend, and softball team member from my Stint in Egypt.
Bicyclist, New Author, Jeopardy Contestant (really!), International Teacher, Diver, Travel Enthusiast, and all around amazing individual.

As a Guest...
As a guest, I have been able to spread the word about my book and our ITP podcast. Going onto other podcasts is just another way for me to learn about podcasting methods and grow my personal learning community. Plus, it's just fun.
David and Audrey are part of the "family" that has come out of the ITP podcast journey. They interviewed me about my book and our podcast.

I can count my best friends on one hand. Joe is one of them. Entrepreneur. Awesome father. Thinker. This is his podcast with me as a guest.
|
Sometimes I simply reach out and offer to be a guest on a random education podcast. This was one of those guest episode opportunities.
|
I had the opportunity to interview on this teacher-turned-comedian's podcast. Why? It was a random "cold call" email.
|
Julia is the daughter of some long-time friends. This 3rd-Culture kid is now an adult with her own podcast.
|
Megan, Lindsey, and Lauren are a fun bunch. I was on a dive vacation in Indonesia when I had the opportunity to be a guest on this show.
|
EduMagic: Future Teacher PodcastAnother "cold call" email connected me with Dr. Fecich and her podcast for pre-service teachers.
|
Making the GradeIn May 2023, I had the opportunity of talking with Christine and Georgia. Once again, it was a "cold call" kind of situation. I didn't know them. I just reached out after listening to their podcast. What fun!

Radio - Actual RadioThis was my first actual radio burb. Imagine going in and recording 30 minutes that is then whittled to 2 minutes.
