Elementary Teaching

First and foremost, I am a teacher. It is my calling. Education is my career. I have taught age3 to grade 12 in internaitonal schools for the past 25 years. There is nothing I would rather do.

Technology

It disturbs me when adults mention that kids know so much more technology and it is easier for them. No. Students need guidance. Teachers need guidance. We are ALL experiencing a revolution of technology. I share what I learn along the way, to prepare us for this rollercoaster.

Podcasting

I am a co-creator, host, and editor of the International Teacher Podcast. We have been online since 2021. I have chosen to stay in the same school for ten years. This podcast has allowed me to grow, keep up-to-date on the international circuit, and meet a lot of educators and leaders in international education. Listen to us.

Martial Arts

Martial Arts have proven to allow me to balance life and work. My path has only begun. I train alone with my master rather than compete in any way. The benefits are more personal and balanced.

Diving

Yes, I took this shot in Australia for my 50th birthday trip. This 17ft Great White shark was inches away from our submerged diving cage. What a great experience to share with students.

I truly believe Music is one of three international languages we share. Music, Math, and Love. Try to dispute that? I have found music again in my current school.
